This role is onsite in Sandy, Oregon.

Automotive Technician Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and major repairs on vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Troubleshoot complex systems such as transmissions, rear axles, and drivability concerns.
• Conduct full vehicle inspections to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and parts departments to ensure timely, accurate repairs.
• Test drive vehicles to confirm the success of repair work.
• Keep thorough, accurate records of all work performed.
• Stay current on manufacturer technical bulletins and certifications.
• Adhere to safety and compliance procedures for shop operations and hazardous materials handling.
• Assist in mentoring and developing entry-level technicians to improve overall team capabilities.

Automotive Technician Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience; advanced-level technicians strongly preferred.
• ASE Master Technician certification or progress toward certification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle systems.
• Must provide personal tools; tool allowance or bonus provided.
• GM, Chevy, or Ford experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
• Able to lift 50–80 pounds and meet the physical demands of the role.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Compensation: $28-$45/hr. (DOE)
