Administrative Specialist
We are seeking an adaptable and highly organized Administrative Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. The ideal candidate brings strong communication, professionalism, and discretion while juggling a variety of clerical and administrative tasks across multiple departments. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being the steady, detail-focused backbone that keeps daily operations running smoothly.

This role is onsite in Tacoma, Washington.

Administrative Specialist Responsibilities

  • Provide daily clerical support, including reception coverage, call handling, customer greetings, and message routing.
  • Sort, prioritize, and manage incoming and outgoing mail; maintain office supply inventory.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas and notes, support events, and assist with departmental needs.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, prepare expense reports, and maintain organized filing systems.
  • Uphold professionalism and confidentiality while supporting individual and team-based tasks as assigned.

Administrative Specialist Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; 3+ years of administrative or clerical support experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general office procedures/equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to stay professional, discreet, innovative, and adaptable in fast-changing situations.

Compensation: $23-$24.50/hr. (DOE)
