Accounts Receivable Specialist
Our international manufacturing client seeks a friendly, customer service-oriented AR Specialist to join their team! This role is responsible for daily collections functions and reports directly to the Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate is personable but professional and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.

This role is anticipating a hybrid schedule requiring 2 days a week onsite in East Portland (20 minutes East of PDX), following the 90-day introductory period (fully onsite).

Accounts Receivable Specialist Responsibilities

• Monitor accounts and reach out to collect past due balances.
• Assess credit reliability to determine payment plan options.
• Process invoices, payments, cash postings, and ACH payments.
• Provide exceptional customer service to customers.
• Research customer inquiries and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
• Set up customer accounts and maintain up to date information in systems.
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance of AR transactions.
• Ad-hoc AR reporting for management.

Accounts Receivable Specialist Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-volume accounts receivable experience within a mid to large sized organization.
• Customer service focused with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with ERP systems and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Able to learn new systems quickly; prior implementation experience a plus.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to effectively multi-task.
• Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exposure to B2B environment a plus.

Compensation: $20-$25/hr. (DOE)
