Accounts Payable Manager (Hybrid)
Our local non-profit client seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join their team! This role is a great fit for a mission-driven, team-oriented and customer service focused AP leader, who enjoys being hands-on while bringing ideas for process improvement and efficiencies to the table.
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week onsite in Portland, Oregon.
Accounts Payable Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee and support daily accounts payable activities ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide support for high-volume check processing.
- Research and resolve discrepancies as necessary.
- Prepare and review AP journal entries and reconciliations.
- Provide backup for AP Accountant as needed.
Accounts Payable Manager Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Proficiency with ERP systems; exposure to cloud-based billing platform (Bill.com) a plus.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with emphasis on customer service.
- Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail/accuracy and the ability to effectively delegate.
- Experience in non-profit sector highly preferred.
Compensation: $85-$95k (DOE)
