Our client, a Portland-based, fast-growing non-profit, seeks a Financial Director to work alongside their CFO.
Financial Director Responsibilities
Develop budgets and manage cash flow and accounts.
Ensure financial compliance of the organization and mitigate risk.
Perform financial review and analysis and reporting.
Oversee AP, AR, payroll processing, and HR administration.
Lead annual audits and serve as a point of contact for external auditors.
Supervise accounting and administrative staff.
Manage government, foundation, and donation revenue streams.
Support leadership with strategic planning.
Financial Director Qualifications
5 years of progressively responsible accounting and finance management experience.
Non-profit background highly preferred.
4 years of supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, and auditing.
Proficient with QuickBooks and MS Excel; Sage a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Government contract exposure highly preferred.
Bachelors in Accounting or Finance related highly preferred.
