Assistant Controller
Our client, headquartered in Portland, is seeking an Assistant Controller to hit the ground running. This company is a top industry leader providing quality products to its customers for more than 60 years and provides generous benefits to its employees.

This is mainly a remote position but may need to work onsite as needed.
 
Assistant Controller Responsibilities
Lead the month and year-end closing and reporting.
Perform reconciliations and review account transactions. 
Support audits as needed and prepare accounting documentation.
Ensure GAAP compliance.
Ad hoc duties and projects as needed.
 
Assistant Controller Qualifications 
4+ years’ progressive accounting experience; well-versed with manufacturing and inventory.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance a plus.
ERP systems experience (Dynamics preferred) and solid MS Excel skills. 
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
Analytical mindset and solutions oriented.
