Our client is seeking a Search Engine Optimization Manager who will lead the team’s day-to-day operations, as well develop the strategy, measurement, and execution of SEO initiatives. This leader will bring deep expertise in current digital marketing best practices, along with experience in building and optimizing operations to enable fulfillment of digital marketing products at scale across a large client base. This role will also include responsibility of measurement and reporting of team performance and productivity, along with client results and retention.
SEO Manager Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of all facets of SEO product strategy and execution to drive exceptional dealer results, ROI, and retention rates.
Partner closely with Product Team to envision and develop new SEO product features, packaging, and roadmap initiatives.
Develop strategic and tactical plans to support implementation of SEO processes and programs that maintain quality and realize cost savings.
With the Digital Marketing Director, plan and allocate resources effectively to meet departmental productivity and quality goals.
Provide daily management and direction of SEO team members and team leads.
Drive growth of team members’ SEO and digital marketing skills set through feedback, coaching, training and employee development.
Help foster a culture of teamwork and inclusivity among the SEO and Digital Marketing teams.
Stay abreast of top trends, best practices, and algorithms to continually develop results-driven strategies
SEO Manager Qualifications
5+ years of experience leading a Digital Marketing team in an in-house marketing or agency environment.
Strong leadership, operations and program management skills.
Proficiency in keyword research and web analytics and reporting tools.
Knowledge of technical SEO and content marketing principles.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Strong analytical mindset and critical thinking skills to resolve complex strategic and operational challenges.
Experience collaborating with and/or leading remote teams.
BA/BS degree in Marketing (or similar discipline) or relevant work experience.
