Senior Supplier Relationship and Performance Manager
Our client is hiring a Senior Supplier Relationship and Performance Manager for their team in Portland, Oregon. Your focus in this role will be working with suppliers once contracts are signed to ensure suppliers provide the results that were agreed upon. The manager provides an objective view while conferring day-to-day with internal teams and suppliers on delivery and performance outcomes and remediation of issues. A significant part of the job for this individual will be to measure delivery performance and work collaboratively on solutions that help improve the outcomes and reduce risks while continuing to foster mutually beneficial relationships. In addition, the individual will have an opportunity to help craft contract terms such as service levels for new work before the contracts are completed in partnership with the Sourcing Team. 

Responsible for collaborating internally and externally to meet or exceed delivery outcomes.
Measures the performance of the supplier in various ways including service level agreements, statement of work delivery target as well as other operational delivery targets.
Ensures contract operational or service delivery expectations are met.
Consults with internal and external teams to resolve operational risks and issues and follows through to remediation completion.
Success may be measured along multiple dimensions, including, but not limited to, productivity, business sponsor or member satisfaction, and account retention.
Acts as a professional, mentors less experienced staff and drives process improvement throughout the IT and health insurance space.
Special projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Strong functional knowledge of IT and IT Suppliers (particularly software suppliers), healthcare insurance processes advantageous.
Experienced in working with suppliers to deliver on key objectives.
Proficient facilitation skills, including issue resolution and building consensus among groups of diverse partners.
Proven experience in defining and developing service level agreements (SLAs), interpreting licensing terms and other key results.
Demonstrated experience in facilitating the creation and implementation of improvement solutions.
Proficient analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations, learn quickly and synthesize corresponding solutions, options and action plans.
Communicates well verbally and in writing, with all levels of leadership.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field and 10 years of experience in leading managing technology or healthcare suppliers, to include optimally completing projects/programs with third party suppliers, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Functional knowledge with appropriate IT or healthcare business area is helpful.
