Provide effective IT support services including but not limited to:
Oversee new employee onboarding and terminations as directed by corporate IT and HR.
Troubleshoot and resolve various infrastructure and application issues.
Perform daily system checks across local infrastructure and provide reporting as required.
Coordinate local data center operations including cabling, racking, and configuration of equipment.
Deploy and administer multiple cloud services including Office 365 for local end users.
Assist in both planning and execution of local and global IT projects as assigned.
Develop written processes, procedures, technical diagrams and various technical documentation.
Support ERP, database, and financial reporting systems as technical lead.
Monitor, maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot site LAN/WAN based networks.
Implement and enforce IT security and compliance policies as directed by management.
Assist in the planning, deployment, and testing of local site backup and disaster recovery technologies.
Suggest improvements to existing network and application design to increase availability of services.
Manage inventory and lifecycle of all regionally located hardware and software systems.
Collaborate with global IT team to develop and implement business process improvements.
Communicate with all levels of organization to identify business challenges and define requirements.
Provide direct support and administration for all site audio/visual and telephony systems.
Coordinate site visits and work directly with local technology vendors on IT initiatives.
Provide mentoring, training and leadership skills to junior engineers or other cross functional personnel as requested by management.
Senior IT Services Engineer Qualifications
BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related degree.
5-7 years professional IT experience with 1-2 years as technical team lead.
5-7 years direct experience with TCP/IP networking, virtualization, servers/storage, enterprise applications, SaaS/Cloud, backup/DR, and security/compliance.
2+ years Supporting ERP and financial systems in a manufacturing environment.
Must be self-directed while still taking direction from management to achieve IT vision.
Excellent communicator with desire to both lead and work collaboratively as part of a global team.
Strong knowledge of Windows server/client, PowerShell, web applications, ESXi, Veeam, O365.
Working knowledge of Linux, AWS, scripting, Docker, Nagios, Cisco firewalls a plus.
Familiarity with ITIL and ISO best practices or equivalent.
Ability to perform technical work off hours during scheduled maintenance windows as directed.
