Senior IT Project Manager
The Senior Project Manager position is to provide direction and leadership to project team members for small-to-large sized application and/or infrastructure projects that range from moderately to highly complex. The Sr. Project Manager will ensure project results contribute positive business value and meets agreed upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality business results.  Manages projects within the Project Management Framework (Agile/Scrum, Iterative, and Waterfall) from initiation through project close while providing methodology guidance and expertise on project execution . The SPM establishes inspires the team with a positive and collaborative leadership style and engages with executives, business stake holders, and partners throughout all levels of the company to manage assigned projects.
Senior IT Project Manager Responsibilities
Direct the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and close of an entire project. 
Ability to contribute and champion usage of structured project management methodology (to include Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, Iterative, etc.).
Knowledge of application and / or infrastructure development life cycle (SDLC).
Lead team members in achieving desired outcomes of deliverables.
Manage project dependencies, milestones, and critical path.
Analyze, manage, and report project performance financial reporting, resource allocation, task delegation and stakeholder management. 
Analyze multiple types and sources of information to generate insight on project performance. 
Ability to provide financial forecast and on-going reconciliation of resources and other project related expenditures.
Clearly define roles and responsibilities of Stakeholders, Project Team Members, Business Partners and Business Users for the project. 
Develop and executes an overall project schedule, including tasks, duration, dependencies, and resource assignments.
Control and tracks changes to scope, time, cost, quality, issues, and risk. 
Elevate risks and issues to leadership level as needed.
Mentor junior level project managers.
Manage multiple medium sized projects at a time.
Provide weekly status reports including project KPIs in order to ensure successful delivery.
Evaluate risks and issues and assesses possible outcomes to determine solution in a timely manner.
Request and on boards needed resources for the project. 
Ensure adherence and execution of all gate approvals as defined in the Project Management Framework.
Ensure team understands the business benefits of the project and connects the project to the broader organizational goals.
Senior IT Project Manager Qualifications

Track record of success in delivering highly complex IT technologies (application, infrastructure, web, and/or cloud) on time, within budget, and with quality that meets or exceeds business customer expectations.
PMP Certification preferred.
Excellent judgment and decisions making skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Possess IT and formal program/project management knowledge as well as ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines based on logical work breakdown structures aligned to critical path. 
Excellent influencing and communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate and explain technically complex concepts to non- technical project team members and vice versa.
Demonstrate financial acumen to control costs and think in terms of profit, loss, and added value. 
Planning and organizing.
Ability to remain calm in high stress situations.
Strong customer focus.
