Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant
Prep financial statements, financial reviews, and analysis.
Manage general ledger, journal entries, balance sheet analysis, and reconciliation.
Support financial reporting.
Review costs to estimates.
Prepare tax reports, asset ledgers, and schedules.
Ensure GAAP compliance and assist with audits.
Assist with the development and implementation of process improvements.
Other special projects and duties as assigned.
Senior Accountant Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA or CPA in process preferred.
2 years of accounting and general ledger experience; manufacturing or construction highly preferred.
Knowledge of GAAP, WIP, GL.
ERP systems knowledge and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
