Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Accountant to join their team. For over 60+ years, this company is continually developing innovative solutions for customers. With offices in the US, Mexico, Europe, and Asia, this is a great opportunity to gain experience at an international company while working in a tight-knit Accounting Team.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities
Maintain the organization's accounts and reconcile consolidations.
Support month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations.
Analyze budgets to expenses and review sales tax filings.
Pull ad-hoc reports as requested.
Prepare schedules, documentation for audits.
Make recommendations for process improvements.
Assist Accounting managers with special projects.
Senior Accountant Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field required; CPA or CMA a plus.
5 years of progressive accounting experience; multi-entity and/or international accounting a plus.
Previous manufacturing experience required.
Strong understanding of General Ledger and GAAP.
ERP systems experience; SAGE a plus.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Able to multi-task competing priorities with conflicting deadlines.
