SSRS Reporting Analyst

Our legal services client will be hiring a mid-level SSRS Reporting Analyst for a 2 year contract.
Critical skills include: solution-focused, curious in conflict, empathetic, ability to connect daily activity to the bigger goals.
The Reporting Analyst develops reports, queries, views, dashboards, and so on, which provide information to ECA internal clients, stakeholders, managers, etc.
Reports may range from quick, ad-hoc queries to formal, complex reporting which occurs on a regular cyclic basis.
The environment is primarily SQL Server, .Net, SSRS, and MS Excel, with occasional need for SSIS.
Pay range: $30.00-$40.00/hr. W2
SSRS Reporting Analyst Responsibilities
Utilize SSRS and SQL to produce accurate, timely results in response to complex, time-bound problems.
Work with a variety of requestors (BSAs, clients, managers, operations, etc.) to analyze and understand requirements.
Design, build, and implement reporting solutions which meet user requirements.
Implement Service Requests by reviewing functional requirements, developing T-SQL stored procedures using SSMS.
Create SSRS reports using Report Builder and Report Designer.
Set up SSIS packages, qualify needs for Business Systems Analysts and Client Services.
Develop query/reports stored procedures that display data within the Claims Matrix application.
Develop stored procedures with dynamic SQL. These stored procedures are designed to handle the addition of new databases on the database server without having to be updated.

SSRS Reporting Analyst Qualifications
2 years of experience creating reports using SSRS.
Experience writing complex SQL statements involving numerous tables and complex relationships.
Ability to translate complex data into simple reports…that a 6 year old can understand.
Financial industry knowledge, specifically banking.
Demonstrated and sustained professional or academic interest and experience in reporting, data visualization and presentation, BI, and/or data warehousing.
Demonstrated ability to develop effective reporting solutions from business requirements.
Ability to work in an environment with deadlines and shifting priorities.
Experience with TFS, BI, data visualization tools.
