Project Manager
Our client is seeking a remote Project Manager with a SOC 2 skillset and experience to join their team. The project manager will be preparing the company for a SOC 2 Type 2 Audit. The ideal candidate will have previous public audit experience as well as audit experience in the private sector. Consideration will be granted to candidates across the Unites States.

They need someone who can run the project, from soup to nuts and interface with the auditors, as well as IT experience who can remediate any issues found.

The Project Manager, SOC2 will be responsible for the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-up for the preparation of third-party attestation reports, including Service Organization Control SOC 2 applying most areas of the governing standard as necessary and documenting, validating, testing and assessing various control systems.
This person should have extensive experience with SOC 2 Type 2 readiness, including security. 

Managing the project, preparing business for SOC2 Type2 audit evaluation.
Review IT risk and security assessments to evaluate policy and procedural compliance.
Review cybersecurity policies & procedures to evaluate compliance or recommend actions to mitigate gaps.
Understanding of network and infrastructure vulnerability testing.
Understanding of Cybersecurity strategies.
Reviewing and updating current policy/procedure documents.
Demonstrated ability to document security and control issues, business impact, and management action plans.
Solid analytical and diagnostic skills and the ability to break down complex issues and implementing appropriate resolutions.
Solid project management skills
Demonstrated ability to plan and manage engagements along with ensuring deliverables meet work-plan specifications and deadlines.
Able to successfully work remotely.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other relevant field required.
Master’s degree in Accounting and minor or dual major in Information Systems or other relevant advanced degree preferred Experience.
