Our local construction client is growing and needs a Project Accountant to support their team. Responsibilities of the Project Accountant
Process monthly project applications.
Review subcontractor billing and collection.
Handle invoice coding and entry.
Project financial and payroll reporting and audits.
Apply contract terms to applications and payment review/approval.
Gather compliance documentation.
Respond to project-related inquiries.
Project Accountant Qualifications
2 years of project accounting experience.
Knowledge of WIP; experience with AIA's and waivers strongly preferred.
ERP systems knowledge and intermediate Excel skills; Viewpoint a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
