Our client is looking for an energetic individual who will have a positive influence on the organization and the Hydraulics Development team. In this role, you will be creating, modifying, and implementing designs to address customer needs. Interacting with all aspects of the organization – including manufacturing, supply chain, and service – is a significant portion of the responsibility to ensure that they deliver quality products that meet customer expectations. Your experience and leadership will be key to their continued development successes.
Integrate input into the creation and modification of designs for components, assemblies, and systems.
Perform calculations to meet defined system performance, efficiency and quality objectives.
Coordinate and develop system design to meet reliability and durability requirements.
Document designs through creation of drawings, engineering lists, change notices, and/or validation plans and test reports.
Provide basic input to the concept phase of projects.
Minimum of B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical emphasis preferred).
5+ years of experience in product development preferred, including:
Participating in cross-functional teams on technical projects;
A proven track record of delivering high quality work on schedule;
Developing system and component level requirements and specifications from customer level requirements.
Specialized knowledge of drafting practices, CAD skills, engineering analysis, and design layouts.
Basic knowledge of vehicle/automotive technology. Exposure to, and interest in, industrial equipment (materials handling, automotive, agricultural or similar) is highly desirable.

Strategically apply basic principles and methods to resolve product issues in a manner consistent with business needs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Communicates upward and downward within a matrix organization with the appropriate level of information.
Work well with other employees and other department: solicit opinions from coworkers, support group decisions, and display team spirit. Be open minded and flexible enough to work effectively in an environment where project priorities shift in response to customer needs.
High drive for results achievement supported by effective organizational skills and time management.
