Payroll Specialist
Our national client is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team. They are looking for a team player knowledgeable in payroll processing, time and attendance administration, and payroll entries and calculations to assist with upcoming workloads and projects.

This position will be working remote temporarily anticipating to return onsite in 2021.

Payroll Specialist Responsibilities 
Support monthly multi-state payroll processing and garnishments.
Process off-cycle checks.
Validate time and payroll data for accuracy.
Review system and tax updates and enhancements within the payroll processes. 
Partner with cross-function initiatives to implement improvements to systems and processes. 
Ensuring systems and configuration meets regulatory requirements.
Additional special projects as assigned.

Payroll Specialist Qualifications 
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required. 
3+ years of high volume multi-state payroll processing experience.
Knowledge of current HR and payroll laws and technical complex payroll processes.
Experience with SAP and/or Workday highly preferred.
MS Office Suite experience, with intermediate skills in Excel.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Excels at multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, and highly organized.
