Responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator
Weekly payroll processing and handling final checks.
Review hour and wage calculations for accuracy.
Provide backup for union reporting.
Process wage garnishments and pay changes.
Reconcile payroll issues.
Be a point of contact for payroll related inquiries.
Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Payroll Administrator Qualifications
Associate degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
3+ years of multi-state in-house payroll experience; construction and/or union background a plus.
Knowledge of GAAP, garnishments, and payroll compliance; union reporting experience a plus.
Familiar with ERP and payroll systems.
Proficient in using MS Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
