Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team in Tualatin, OR.
Perform electro-mechanical assemblies with or without BKM (Best known method) assembly instruction.
Document and create BKM based on existing assembly process and support manufacturing engineer on continued process improvement including cycle time/takt time reduction.
Understand Lean manufacturing process and support implementation.
Able to read and interpret manufacturing documentations including drawing, schematics, P&ID, BOM (Bill of material), wiring diagram, BKM (Best known method) work instructions.
Proficient in NCM (Non-conforming material) process and disposition.
Support and manage inventory control and workflow management.
Update ERP/electronic manufacturing tracking system and report assembly progress as well as RMA to production manager.
Assist manufacturing manager in developing and implementing appropriate systems to measure Department efficiencies, product quality, and performance.
Perform in process inspection as well as final inspection.
Performs high quality soldering and adheres to established company manufacturing guidelines.
Performs final system Q.A. on individual assembly work – reports any problems per established company manufacturing guidelines.
Tests and calibrates parts, mechanisms, and sub-assemblies to meet tolerances and specifications for internal products.
Responsible for individual station record keeping, cleanliness, and adherence to OSHA and company safety guidelines.
Require high school diploma or equivalent.
Associate degree in manufacturing, machine technology, electro-mechanical integration is plus.
Relevant certifications preferred in Quality Auditor, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma.
Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience preferred.
Experience with implementation of corrective action programs preferred.
Product or industry-specific experience.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office product.
Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of manufacturing QA.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
Attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
Customer service orientation.

Work involves sitting, walking, standing, bending, and stooping for long periods of time.
Lifting to 25 pounds
Requires close visual acuity and ability to distinguish color.
Warehouse and office environments.
