The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing staff in the execution of production processes for GMP manufacturing operations
Manufacturing Supervisor Responsibilities
Oversee production processes for cGMP manufacturing operations by establishing priorities, clear expectations, and demonstrating high standards of work practices.
Train, coach, and mentor technicians and associates on manufacturing functions, including compliance on all company/regulatory quality systems, safety procedures, and SOPs.
Complete required cGMP documentation including but not limited to deviation reports, change control, product changeover and maintenance.
Perform and monitor staff during unit operations as described in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records.
Review and ensure errors during manufacturing operations are corrected.
Review and approve executed manufacturing MBRs.
Responsible for daily organization of work flow and delegating responsibilities for shift operations as needed.
Responsible for development of staff (i.e. goal setting, assignment of development activities, performance reviews, etc.)

Manufacturing Supervisor Qualifications
Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbal and written, in English.
Demonstrated expertise using Microsoft Excel and Word.
Technical writing skills preferred.
Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks for staff.
Ability to work hours necessary to support production and / or maintenance activities.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. with assistance.
Ability to work in confined spaces and near operating equipment.
Ability to work in loud noise environments.
B.S. in scientific discipline.
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in production processes for cGMP manufacturing operations.
Previous experience managing manufacturing operations and people.
