Manufacturing Specialist II - Lubrication Specialist
This position lubricates manufacturing equipment according to maintenance plans and recommended equipment manufacturer. Supports predictive and preventive maintenance program by changing oil, filters and submitting oil samples when required. Performs minor maintenance installing, replacing and repairing lubrication systems. Records and documents lubrication activities using SAP or other Computerized Maintenance Management System. Follows proper oil disposal procedures and ensures safe work environment. Serves as a member of the maintenance service team and supports environmental policies.

Manufacturing Specialist II - Lubrication Specialist Responsibilities 
Primary Task (100%) - Lubrication and Environmental:
Ensures safe work environment and supports plant safety program.
Follows OSHA, Hazardous Material and Waste regulations and procedures, wears required Personal Protective Equipment while performing duties.
Maintains clean organized work station and assigned work area.
Lubricates manufacturing equipment according to maintenance plans and Original Equipment Manufacturer recommendations.
Performs minor maintenance installing, replacing and repairing lubrication systems.
Assists Central Stores ensuring lubrication consumable supply inventories are accurate and available.
Supports maintenance service team with environmental policies and procedures such as chemical labeling, spill prevention and housekeeping.
Identifies, implements and supports process improvements associated with lubrication program.
Train manufacturing team members on lubrication practices as needed.

Communication and Documentation:
Maintains open communication through conversation and both formal and informal documents.
Records and documents lubrication activities using SAP.
Completes SAP work request and orders as required.
Collaborates with and supports manufacturing engineers, supervisors and maintenance service team throughout plant.
Follows standard work procedures and updates periodically.
Attends and participates in DMS, plant update and other scheduled meetings.

Manufacturing Specialist II - Lubrication Specialist Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent require
Must have mechanical aptitude and some lubrication experience.
1+ years of experience in manufacturing environment.
Able to complete responsibilities in a timely, professional and quality manner.
Takes initiative, self-starter, sets and prioritizes daily work activities.
Able to work on own with minimum supervision.
Solve problems analytically; search out relevant information and gauge its importance when making decisions.
Effective written and oral communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and non-technical terms.
Collaborative effective team player and able to work with teams with different skills and departments.
Set a good example of personal integrity, does the right thing at all times.
Demonstrate ability and willingness to learn; seek out development activities to improve skills and increase knowledge; learn from other team members and own mistakes.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data management software (SAP preferred).
Able to receive a motorized vehicle license within the plant.

Must be available for all of the following shifts (rotating shift schedule):
Day shift: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Swing shift: 4:00 p.m. to midnight
Graveyard shift: Midnight to 7:30 a.m.
Or when assigned to a special shift determined by department needs.
