Manufacturing Quality Technician
Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Technician to join their team in Tualatin, OR.
Document manufacturing processes for current and future products.
Develop, implement, and monitor quality initiatives for manufacturing and maintenance/repair activities.
Assist manufacturing manager in developing and implementing appropriate systems to measure.
Department efficiencies, product quality, and performance.
Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards.
Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data.
Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems.
Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
Collect and compile statistical quality data.
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
Support manufacturing engineer and QA engineer to develop corrective and preventive action plans.
Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.
Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Responsible for document management systems.
Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
Create BKM and supplier out sourcing specifications.
Run system BI stations and document issues and collect BI data.
Perform final inspection and provide COA to shipping logistics.
Manage QA database including COA, RCCA, RMA, and RMA tracking systems.
Manage RMA process and provide part list as well as repair instructions shipping logistics and manufacturing technician.
Support sales with field failure and provide corrective actions.
Require high school diploma or equivalent.
Associate degree in manufacturing, machine technology, electro-mechanical integration is plus.
Relevant certifications preferred in Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma.
Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience.
Experience with implementation of corrective action programs.
Product or industry-specific experience.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases.
Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of manufacturing QA.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
Attention to detail.
Communication skills - verbal and written.
Data collection and analysis.
Excellent problem analysis and problem solving.
Planning and organizing.
Customer service orientation.
Physical Requirements and working conditions
Work involves sitting, walking, bending, and stooping for long periods of time.
Lifting to 50 pounds.
Requires close visual acuity and ability to distinguish color.
Warehouse and office environments.
