Lead Product Training Engineer
Our client is hiring a Lead Product Training Engineer for their team in Hillsboro, Oregon. Our Product Training Engineers will build several relevant knowledge bases that will server our customers, including, but not limited to: Stackoverflow, Slackbot Creation, Blog Posts, Technical Articles, etc. Trainers will work closely with Platform Engineering Teams, Customer Success Engineers, Product Managers and Technical Writers to develop training materials such as live workshops, recorded content, self-paced trainings, etc. The Enterprise Platform Portfolio has a wide range of capabilities from Data Streaming/Movement, Data Enrichment, Data Discovery, Data Analytics, AI/ML to Workflow, Business Rules and Digital Asset Management. We are looking for strong engineers that have the breadth and depth of technical knowledge and abilities to service all of our customers in those domains.

As a Product Training Engineer for the Customer Success Engineering team, you will elevate the teams responsible for ensuring our customers’ success. 
You will elicit complex technical requirements and leverage the Enterprise Architecture and Platform Portfolio to satisfy those requirements.
Devise technical training programs according to organizational requirements.
Determine course content according to objectives.
Prepare training material (presentations, worksheets etc.).
Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually.
Create recorded self-paced training content.
Contribute to technical/How-To articles/blogs.
Arrange for and conduct instructor led training when needed.
Observe and evaluate results of training programs.
Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements.

Degree in a relevant technical field.
Proven experience as technical trainer.
5+ years in software engineering or technical trainer role.
Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects.
Experience in designing technical course content.
Ability to address training needs with complete courses.
Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Certification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) is a strong asset.
