Our international industrial client is in need of a Junior Accountant to join their team in Portland, Oregon. This is a great growth opportunity to be a part of a large organization in a unique industry.
Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant
Set up new vendors and maintain vendor records.
Process vendor invoices and prepare invoices for approval.
Set up ACH, vouchers, and payments.
Support payroll functions.
Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close duties.
Follow up on AP discrepancies and inquiries.
Additional accounting and administrative support as needed.
Junior Accountant Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
2 years of AP and general accounting experience.
Experience with SAP or large ERP system and ADP experience highly preferred
Proficient in using MS Office Suite with intermediate Excel skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
