As a member of the team your responsibilities will range across several areas. You will be expected own your code from design to deployment to operation. This includes prolific testing from unit tests to end to end tests. You will also be expected to contribute to the quality of other team members code through our code review process. The work is heavily influenced by Agile development principles which you will be contributing to on a regular basis. As a senior member of the team you will work closely with other members across the organization to develop not only your coding skills but also your perspective on how to most effectively work within the company. You will be required to work with teams external to the team to not only grow awareness of our products but also assist with teaching the organization about Product Copy Writing principles.
Java Developer Responsibilities
Develops code, configures applications, and defines job schedules for low-risk, low-impact, well-defined requirements.
Creates test plans, executes tests, and validates test results for unit testing.
Perform application support, problem solving, and issue resolution with assistance.
Applies global process standards to system changes.
Applies coding/configuration standards and best practices.
Conducts Compliance Issue Remediation Assists performance test scripts and executes performance tests with assistance.
Contributes to technical design documents and assists in researching engineering tools.
Java Developer Qualifications
1+ years of Java experience, bias toward Java 8.
1+ years of experience with Springboot and testing frameworks like Junit and Mockito.
1+ years of developing Cloud software.
Experience MySQL a must, and with database management layers like Hibernate a plus.
E2E testing framework, such as Cypress.
Experience with GraphQL and JSON Web Tokens.
Experience with Jenkins2, Docker and AWS.
Basic Linux and command line skills.
