Our client is hiring an IT Auditor for their team in Hillsboro, Oregon. This is a great opportunity to gain experience at a global well-known company.
IT Auditor Responsibilities
Audits information technology (IT), platforms, and operating procedures in accordance with established standards for efficiency, accuracy, security and risk mitigation.
Interprets federal, state and/or international regulations as they apply to information systems, platforms, and IT operating processes, practices and procedures.
Evaluates IT infrastructure in terms of risk to the organization and establishes controls to mitigate loss.
Plans audits, analyzes audit results and tests auditing programs.
Determines and recommends improvements to current risk management controls.
May revise controls for new or modified computer applications to prevent inaccurate calculations, data loss, and to ensure discovery of errors.
IT Auditor Qualifications
Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
5+ years of technical experience.
3+ years in software quality assurance.
Experience in a management/leadership role highly preferred.
Understanding of SOX compliance and risk analysis.
Excellent communication skills.
High attention to detail and analytical skills.
