IT Asset Management Specialist
This position provides logistical support, IT asset management (both hardware and software), IT project support and knowledge management support to the IT Department. Requires very strong attention to detail, expert MS Excel skills and understanding of report structure and creating reports to pull data out of asset management and other systems.

IT Asset Management Specialist Responsibilities
(This list is not intended to detail all aspects of the assigned work but is representative of the job’s overall responsibilities):
Serve as an IT Specialist providing asset management, logistical, project and miscellaneous support to the IT Department, with emphasis on asset management.
Asset management system maintenance, including auditing and correcting assets.
Update asset status when assets are deployed or returned to stock.
Software license purchases and documentation in asset management system.
Assigning/unassigning software licenses to users.
Logistics for IT projects: reporting and data analysis, used to identify project targets and completion metrics.
Report development within asset management system.
Audit monthly AT&T invoices, generate usage audit reports, and maintain consistency in AT&T recordkeeping.
Other internal IT audit tickets as assigned.
Shared responsibility for processing purchasing requests from members of the IT Department with oversight from the Help Desk Manager.
Shared responsibility for monitoring incoming expenses on IT Department credit cards, matching with invoices and coding to appropriate cost centers.
Write and maintain detailed SOPs for asset management, reporting, auditing and other tasks as assigned.
