Our client is hiring an experienced iOS Developer for their team in Beaverton, Oregon. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, innovative design, and the creation of quality code is essential for this role. Working in our organization will be rewarding, challenging, and most definitely not be just another job. Your primary focus will be development of iOS applications for our startup businesses. You will be working in a small team where other engineers will be working on the cloud services infrastructure and front end web experiences.
iOS Developer Responsibilities
Design and build applications for the iOS platform.
Integrate the iOS Apps with backend Cloud services.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and support continuous integration and continuous delivery using our internal frameworks.
iOS Developer Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other Engineering disciplines and/or strong software programming skills.
At least 3-5 years of production quality software development experience of which at least 2 recent years of solid iOS development experience.
Proficient with the Swift language, and also SwiftUI, Appkit, Core Foundation, Core Data, Core Media and Webkit iOS frameworks.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Proficiency with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services using Swift libraries like Alamofire or others.
Familiarity with User Notifications, Embedded Webview interactions.
Expert in using Xcode and related debugging and performance tuning tools.
Knowledge of web technologies and UI/UX standards.
Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
Ability to understand technology deeply and ability to dive in and debug at any level in the software stack.
Familiarity with DevOps model of development and QA within a single team.
Experience with agile development methodologies namely SCRUM and/or Kan Ban.
