Lead the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team to include managing the enterprise-wide Identity and Access services. In addition, this position will be responsible for providing strategy, leadership, training, and mentoring to the IAM team. The candidate will work with various technology and business stakeholders to ensure the secure rapid delivery of business value.
IAM Manager Responsibilities
Lead the IAM program to include: maintaining a multi-year strategy/roadmap, obtaining key stakeholder sponsorship, establishing governance, and driving the repeatable delivery of outcomes.
Manage core IAM capabilities to include: IGA, PKI, UBA, password vaulting, MFA, and SSO.
Engage with and influence key stakeholders to ensure that compliance, security and cross-functional requirements are met.
Develop monitoring and report on the health, effectiveness and efficiency of IAM services.
Design solutions for foundational IAM principals including: least privilege access, password management, audit logging, certificate management, privileged access and user behavior analytics.
Clearly communicate vision, user stories, plans and project status to directs, management, and key business stakeholders.
Lead evolution and maturation of identity management initiatives including a focus on automation of provisioning and user-friendly access reviews.
Focus on the personal and professional growth of IAM staff by minting new analysts, engineers, and managers.
Accountable for internal/external audits of the IAM program.
Follows all policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
May perform other duties as assigned.
May supervise up to 10 staff.
IAM Manager Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science is preferred.
5 + years of hands on experience in the Identity and Access Management field.
2 + years of management experience; ability to lead with a strategic vision and manage operations.
Experience with identity governance administration capabilities, SailPoint preferred.
Experience in an ITIL and agile based IT organization.
Knowledge and experience in API security standards.
Experience with cloud service providers like Azure.
Strong understanding of single sign-on and authentication technologies such as SAML, OpenID Connect and Kerberos.
Experience internal audit concepts and regulatory requirements (e.g. SOX, GLBA, etc.).
