Our client is seeking an HR Manager to join their Vancouver team. This is a great opportunity to drive HR process improvements and work alongside the organization's leaders.
Human Resource Manager Responsibilities
Oversee hiring processes including job posts, recruiting/screening, and onboarding.
Manage employee benefits programs and benefits enrollment.
Perform multi-state payroll processing.
Analyze HR metrics and reports.
Assist managers with employee relations issues.
Continuous development and implementation of HR process improvements.
Support HR projects (software implementations, employee handbook updates, and training materials).
Maintain company personnel records and documentation.
Human Resource Manager Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; SHRM-CP/PHR a plus.
5+ years of HR experience with knowledge of current HR laws and regulations; construction experience a plus.
Proficient using an HRIS / Payroll software; Paycom preferred.
Previous experience using job boards/sites and strong Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the company.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
