Head of Talent Acquisition
Our client is seeking a Head of Talent Acquisition to join their team. This role is responsible for developing, implementing and measuring short-, medium- and long-term talent acquisition strategies that help drive the business at their Seattle, WA and Boulder, CO sites. The position will deliver effective and timely recruiting solutions to source, assess, interview and hire exceptional talent.

Responsibilities
Design, operationalize and monitor metrics-based strategies that drive a best-in-class talent acquisition program.
Effectively manage, coach and train staff to consistently deliver exceptional results in all aspects of the full recruiting process. Provide leadership for Recruiting team.
Develop strong and effective relationships with RPO partners. Lead daily meetings, resolve bottle necks and escalate matters where needed.
Build and maximize team talent, cultivating an environment of high performance.
Build dashboards, KPIs and other leading and lagging metrics that measure program effectiveness. Maximize the effectiveness of the Greenhouse Applicant Tracking system. Make timely adjustments to approaches and strategies when needed.
Ensure alignment of recruiting strategies and key business priorities to identify, attract, and hire diverse talent within a competitive landscape.
Liaise with business leadership and Human Resources to ensure recruitment efforts are meeting the short, mid, and long term needs of the business.
Strategically identify sources of top talent for corporate positions across key functional areas.
Proactively develop talent pipelines at all levels and ensure engagement until hire.
Develop and implement initiatives and projects that support employer branding as well as diversity and inclusion.
Pull and analyze data to understand departmental / team effectiveness and opportunities.
Develop new external partnerships and manage existing external relationships to facilitate professional networking and brand awareness.

Experience using Linkedin Recruiter and other social recruiting platforms, job boards, target company cold-calling and other sourcing mechanisms to identify candidates.
Proven success in assessing and utilizing effective tools, processes, and best practices to improve recruitment.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
8-10+ years of progressively responsible Talent Acquisition experience.
At least 4 years of experience leading and driving successful Talent Acquisition team(s).
Experience working with RPO partners.
Knowledge and experience optimizing Applicant Tracking Systems.
Broad Human Resources experience.
Understanding of the biopharmaceutical market.
Demonstrated understanding of recruiting trends and an openness to pioneering new practices.
Experience using technology and social media to recruit top talent.
Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of open roles.
Additional education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.
