Our client is hiring a Fit/Garment Developer for their team.
Execute design and fit intent into bulk production while maintaining company standards.
Protect brand integrity and consistency through creation and use of fit blocks.
Leads fit sessions, construction approval, and documentation to all business partners to meet sampling and production deadlines.
Identify potential production, quality, and costing issues and make recommendations to mitigate risk.
Challenge business partners when appropriate to prevent re-work, redundancies, and inefficiency.
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
10+ years of experience in the apparel industry.
5+ years managing Fit development.
3+ years managing a team.
Specialized Knowledge/Technical Skills:
Expertise in pattern making including grading, construction, and fit for multiple and complex products.
Knowledge of construction standards and manufacturing methods.
Working knowledge of garment manufacturing process.
Decision Making and Problem-solving:
Ability to manage change and shift priorities based on evolving business requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively to a globally diverse audience.
