Functional Support - Maintenance Control Specialist
Our client is looking for a Functional Support - Maintenance Control Specialist that gathers, inputs, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. This role reviews maintenance data and records for field equipment to ensure accurate completion. This position performs data entry into computerized maintenance management system, CMMS. May utilize software to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. Supports department process improvement.
Functional Support - Maintenance Control Specialist Responsibilities
Ensures deploying personnel complete required maintenance records according to the published policies and procedures.
Enters maintenance records data into a computer system daily.
Receives maintenance records and logs them in according to work instructions.
Coordinates/communicates with various departments to ensure maintenance records are completed in accordance with company instructions.
May be required to create reports about data received and errors outstanding for correction.
Compiles records and checks for accuracy and completeness requires attention to detail.
Works in cooperation with maintenance controllers to validate flight and maintenance data.
Requests assistance and guidance from a maintenance controller when records contain errors or are not returned promptly for quality checks.
Frequent communication directly or through electronic means with field personnel to train and assist with records return or entry.
Ability to learn the records requirements and quality check data submission with a high degree of accuracy and requires little oversight.
Ability to write work instructions that assist with the collection, entry or processing of maintenance records.
Functional Support - Maintenance Control Specialist Qualifications
High School and 2 years of related experience.
Basic understanding of expense reporting and accounting.
High level of proficiency in MS Office software products; specifically:
Microsoft Excel 2007 or later: create, edit, format and print basic worksheets; insert graphic objects, create templates, sort and filter data, import and export data, create and analyze data, and work with Excel on the web.
Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 or later: create and format slides, work with tables, charts, images, objects, prepare presentations; work with design templates, diagrams, special effects, custom slide shows, collaboration functionality and advanced presentation delivery.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational skills and scheduling abilities.
Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with people at various levels, honoring confidentiality in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management system data entry.
Experience in Department of Defense equipment maintenance.
Experience maintaining equipment that requires maintenance records entries.
