Full Stack Developer
Our client is searching for a Full Stack Developer to join their shared services Information Technology team. They are looking for a developer with a genuine passion to learn, create quality solutions, and solve tough challenges.
You will be challenged to create and to innovate. You will work with a team to deliver functional requirements and technical solutions by coordinating with product owners, product teams, and IT cross functional groups. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing (automation), deploying, and self-documenting working software. The successful candidate will bring strong critical thinking skills and impeccable judgement to prioritize multiple efforts and make a long-lasting impact for our clients as well as for their employees.
Responsibilities of the Full Stack Developer
Implement enhancements to B2C and B2B websites. These include custom programming to ensure the integrity of data, providing administrative solutions for internal employees.
Research, plan, design and develop new applications, maintaining existing code, working on new enhancements and features, writing, tuning and debugging web applications for client facing systems.
Design, develop, and support internal systems to improve the efficiency of our operations and the accuracy of our data.
Work with source code control systems.
Participate in code reviews with other team members to ensure development guidelines and security standards are met.
Execute full life cycle software development.
Collaborate with other developers and management, sharing ideas during team meetings, and learning from senior developers.
Solve complex and challenging business problems with cutting edge technologies.
Constantly challenge our assumptions, process and products with a keen eye to industry and coding best practices.
Explore new technologies and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Qualifications of the Full Stack Developer
Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science/Engineering).
Experience with .NET framework and Core technologies.
Experience in XML, XLST, and JSON formats.
Experience with CSS (2 or 3) and HTML (5).
Experience with Responsive Web design best practices.
Good foundational knowledge of SQL and databases.
Understanding of SQL database principles including triggers and stored procedures.
Working knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA), RESTful web services, API development, and Messaging Queues.
Successful deployment of web applications or web services in AWS or Microsoft Azure.
Agile and DevOps experience is recommended.
Proven ability to write clear, concise documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as a team member.
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
