Financial Analyst
A large local company has an immediate need for a Financial Analyst. This is an opportunity to gain a wide range of experience in a large finance organization sharpening your analytical skills and improving processes.

Financial Analyst Responsibilities 
Maintain and analyze financial reports. 
Prepare and interpret complex accounting transactions to business leaders.
Month-end close journal entries and reporting responsibilities.
Audit entries for accuracy and discrepancies. 
Continuous process improvement efforts to improve the utilization of accounting software systems.
Ensure compliance with accounting guidance and regulatory requirements.
Ad hoc analysis as assigned.

Financial Analyst Qualifications 
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance highly preferred. 
3+ years of experience in an analytical role or accounting role. 
Strong Excel skills including V-lookup, Pivot tables; Macros a plus. 
Proficiency with Lawson and/or Workday a plus. 
Excellent verbal and presentation skills with the ability to interact with different levels of the organization. 
Critical thinking and analytical skills. 
Self-starter and motivated.
