Financial Accounting Analyst
Our client is looking for a Financial Accounting Analyst to join their team. This role is highly collaborative and visible with multiple stakeholders of the company. The ideal candidate is driven, motivated to help identify improvements, and very tech-savvy.
This position is temporarily working remotely anticipating returning hybrid/onsite in 2021.
Financial Accounting Analyst Responsibilities
Establish internal controls to reduce risks.
Develop policies that adhere to company and general accounting standards.
Assist with streamlining systems and processes.
Ensure month-end close activities and reporting are completed.
Analyze discrepancies and communicate to appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
Additional accounting projects as needed.
Financial Accounting Analyst Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar; CPA or CPA in-process.
3+ years of experience analyzing accounting transactions and internal controls.
3 years of public accounting/audit experience.
Solid understanding of GAAP and key finance and accounting principles.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
ERP systems experience and intermediate Excel skills.
Able to adapt to changing environments and shift priorities with multiple projects at one time.
