Finance Manager
Our Portland nonprofit client has been serving the community for almost 50 years and is looking for a Finance Manager to manage the financials for their organization. Responsibilities of the Finance Manager
Oversee financials of organization.
Lead the continuous development and implementation of financial policy, best practice, and process improvements.
Develop, train, and mentor finance team.
Assist with accounting systems development and implementation.
Manage financial statements and balance sheets.
Grant and contract compliance.
Financial reporting.
Budgeting and forecasting.
Financial review and analysis.
Fund accounting.
Lead audits.
Statistical analysis.
Ensure compliance.
Cash management.
Track multiple accounts.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

Finance Manager Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
5 years of progressively responsible accounting and finance management experience; nonprofit background preferred.
Knowledge of GAAP.
MS Office Suite experience, with skills in Excel and Word.
ERP systems knowledge.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Focused and calm demeanor.
