The Equipment Engineer will need high interpersonal skills to work with equipment and process engineers at the customer site and with the parent company. The engineer’s goal will be to create and execute equipment modifications to enable new or the extension of an existing equipment product life cycle. This position may require travel to support other customer site equipment issues, attend technical conferences, or additional training. The engineer’s duty may include but not limited to:
Determining customer technical improvement needs and provide information to the factory to implement / modify equipment that will meet these needs.
Improve internal equipment performance and productivity through customer / factory interaction.
Support new equipment development and implementation at customer development sites.
Coordinate/liaison for installation/conversion/upgrade efforts at customer site.

Provide trouble shooting recommendations, and hands-on support when necessary.
Review documentation to assure accuracy and suggest improvements.
Assist with customer’s administrative requirements for staff.
Coordinate BKM/procedure creation for the customer and corporation.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering or equivalent training and experience.
6 years of experience in the semiconductor field.
3 years of experience with thermal and/or plasma semiconductor equipment.
Excellent communications skills.
