Enterprise Software Architect
Our client is seeking an Enterprise Software Architect to join their dynamic team in Portland, OR. In this critical leadership role in the Technology organization, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will be the leading force in defining, delivering, operating, and evolving the architecture and future technology choices for our client’s entire portfolio. Our organization covers all aspects of quantitative, qualitative research, Analytics, integration and extensibility. You will directly influence our engineering, practices and systems choices to take us into the next generation of Research tool. This work will significantly impact the growth and effectiveness of their engineering organization.
Enterprise Software Architect Responsibilities:
Defining a scalable service-oriented architectural vision for the product portfolio.
Build an architecture center of excellence group with representation from all product team and define an architecture implementation roadmap.
Translation of complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design.
Responsible for the over-all systems architecture, scalability, reliability, performance and automated testing designs.
Propose frameworks, technologies and standards for development and implementation.
Should be able to conceptualize and come up with multiple architectural approaches to specific problems aligned with architectural vision.
Closely work with Product Management to understand business requirements and engineering to determine performance requirement to translate them in the best product architecture choices.
Identifying how we bring Data, analytics, machine learning and AI technologies into our platform stack.
Teaching good architectural design to technical leaders and engineering teams.
Educating the company senior leadership on technology investments, benefits and impacts.
Advising customer and sales leadership on product capabilities to meet our largest most demanding customers.
Enterprise Software Architect Qualifications:
Bachelors / Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field in a reputed institution.
15 years of professional experience in software development with most of them from a software product company.
Proficient in Architecture, Design & Development.
Expert knowledge of Software Engineering best practices, Software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Proficient in Open source technologies, Private and Public cloud technologies with a focus on GCP and AWS.
Fluent in both Windows and Unix development technology stacks and frameworks.
Experienced mentoring technical leaders and Engineering team.
