Enterprise Architect

Our client is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join their dynamic team in Vancouver, WA. This senior-level leadership role creates a technology architecture strategy that encompasses a holistic view of our client’s business process, data and IT assets that supports the execution of our client’s strategy to design, build, and deploy enterprise systems to align with the company’s vision of business owner advocacy. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Enterprise Applications and maintains direct relationships with Executives, Directors, Task Force members, Managers, and the field. 


Enterprise Architect Responsibilities:

Create, maintain and execute a technology roadmap and vision which supports the business strategy and maximizes the company investment in technology.
Provides architectural and strategic direction in the areas of IT governance, emerging technologies, architecture principles, technology selection, technology lifecycles, and best practices.
Directs the creation and evolution of the enterprise architecture function, including coordination of an appropriately balanced pursuit of enterprise business, information, technical, and solution architecture viewpoints. 
Analyzes business processes and technology assets to develop current state and target state architecture, roadmaps, transition plans, referential architecture patterns and technology standards.
Provides architectural vision and leadership for developing and implementing enterprise architecture initiatives that improve IT cost-effectiveness, service quality, and business development.
Define and communicate the company’s strategic platforms and target architecture – publish and maintain the business-system capability map and reference architecture.
Establish and oversee EA governance framework and ensure integration with the IT operating model.
Consults with program/project/product teams to fit solutions to architecture across all viewpoints.
Works closely with the business, applications, audit and infrastructure teams to analyze business and technical problems and develop the appropriate framework to deliver business solutions with infinite relevance.
Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards, as well as the design of standard software configurations.
Assist in the creation and assessment of requests for proposals for vendor, software and hardware selection.
Accountable for enterprise, solutions, security, UX and technology architecture best practices and domains.
Effectively operate and manage within a decentralized organization leveraging internal resources, on and offshore partner relationships.
