Our client is seeking an Engineering Product/Program Manager to join their team in New York, NY. An Engineering Product/Program Manager is sought to join an ambitious, well-funded interdisciplinary research group based in New York City. This hire is sought to coordinate the efforts of their world-class engineers and scientists in developing and building their special-purpose Anton supercomputers and in-house software tools. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and demonstrated leadership ability, as well as experience in coordinating complex technical projects and managing relationships with vendors.
At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in managing/coordinating complex technical projects including software development, systems/infrastructure, and hardware .(microprocessor/chip/VLSI/computing clusters) design projects etc.
Background (bachelor’s or master’s degree) in engineering/computer science is preferred.
Additional scientific background (chemistry, biology, physics, math, etc.) is a plus.
Comfort/familiarity with Python is a plus.
Relevant industries: software, defense, biotech & pharma, semiconductor, finance, consulting, etc.
Excellent communication skills.
