Our client has an immediate need to hire an Engineering Manager in Southern Oregon. The person in this role will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of engineers as they develop products, test and modify products, and create solutions to technical problems, and improve manufacturing methods.
Schedule and assign tasks to engineers.
Manage progress of various projects.
Communicate effectively with internal customers.
Collaborate with the sales team to create new products.
Propose budgets for various projects.
Ensure that engineering staff is receiving all necessary training.
Study and improve products for manufacturing.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, MBA or Masters preferred.
Must be proficient in SolidWorks.
Sheet Metal experience highly preferred.
Great analytical, math, and problem solving skills.
Ability to collaborate with many team members.
Interpersonal skills to manage a team.
Ability to give constructive criticism.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
