Electronic Assembler Responsibilities
Assemble electronic, electrical and electro-mechanical components, sub-assemblies and circuit board assemblies using manual and automated equipment and processes and/or verbal instructions as required.
May require occasional extended hours to meet sales demand.
Perform routine electrical and mechanical inspection and measurement activities.
Supplement manufacturing operation as an electronic assembler, packager, encapsulator, and other duties as assigned.
Comply with production schedules and priorities.
Communicate production passdown status to next shift personnel.
Move material as required
Perform computer and/or hard copy data entry.
Stop production when instructions conflict with the task.
Stop production if a quality problem is identified.
Alert management of deviations to standard processes and unsafe working conditions.
Support fellow employees as requested.
Electronic Assembler Qualifications
Ability to perform fault detection of assigned product and process.
Ability to read, understand and interpret manufacturing blueprints, drawings and associated documentation.
Ability to use precision measurement equipment (DMM, Calipers, etc.) to validate electrical and mechanical features.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to be flexible in a dynamic work environment.
Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of the organization.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Must have working knowledge of IPC-A-610, Color Code, SMT and Through-hole solder skills.
Ability to perform basic mathematics.
Six months appropriate and related assembly experience.
Basic education that provides ability to read, write and perform basic mathematics.
