EHR System Applications Analyst
Our client is seeking a EHR System Applications Analyst to join their team. Proactively engages with stakeholders to research, analyze, design, and implement or enhance applications to support key business processes and initiatives. Consults with users to identify and document current operating procedures, problems, and requirements. Serves as a technical expert in the administration, testing, and troubleshooting of existing applications.
Manage and participate in system implementation and enhancement projects.
Consult with business users to develop software enhancements.
Provide detailed system and application documentation.
Resolve application issues and identify root cause working with others as needed.
Develop project plans.
Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing of system implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
Analyze interoperability of applications.
Write SQL queries to examine data.
Write SQL views, triggers, functions and procedures.
Develop or configure applications in low-code platforms.
Handle escalated support tickets. Strive to empower first tier support to handle as many tickets as possible.
Additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
To qualify for the EHR System Applications Analyst a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 3+ years of related work experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience which will provide the ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Experience with EHR software (Epic, Cerner, etc.) or dental practice management software is required. Works on moderately complex projects and assignments. Works under moderate supervision.
To qualify for the Senior EHR System Applications Analyst a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 6+ years of related work experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience which will provide the ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Experience with EHR software (Epic, Cerner, etc.) or dental practice management software is required. Works on complex projects and assignments requiring advanced knowledge and skills. Expected to lead moderately sized projects with minimal supervision.
