Senior Director, Technology
Our client is seeking a Senior Director of Technology to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be able to lead a team to successfully develop their enterprise class Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products and platforms that leverage the latest technology and software design principles. The ideal candidate has managed dynamic teams and is very comfortable tackling complex technical and architectural challenges, while supporting a regular product release cycle in an agile environment.
Identify and develop the technical strategy and roadmap (development and infrastructure) to deliver consumer and customer benefits through the technical solutions.
Develop strategic plans and manage timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of technical, web, and mobile services.
Collaborating with department heads, product, client services, marketing, and sales as an advisor of all technologies involved with the company.
Mentor and lead our technology teams, including development, infrastructure, and IT support Management of data privacy and security. This would be transitioned over time.
Support Agile software development practices and processes, assuring best practices are implemented and followed.
Define technical infrastructure priorities and create focus on areas that create customer and consumer value.
Develop a culture of accountability, purpose, and continuous improvement.
Recruit and retain top talent.
Align and partner with product, development, and client service stakeholders.
Professional and Technical Competencies.
Bachelor’s degree required.
14+ in technology strategy and planning, application management and infrastructure.
5+ years in senior management level with demonstrated leadership accomplishments.
Healthcare experience a plus.
Startup/young company experience a plus.
Strong leadership abilities.
Proven track record of optimizing processes, organizing activities, and engaging people, while
juggling multiple concurrent and competing priorities.
jQuery, HTML, XML and related technologies.
Experience with cloud hosting using MS Azure or AWS.
Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and mobile architecture and design.
Well versed in Agile/Scrum methodologies and product development life cycles.
Experience directly or indirectly managing data security, including HIPAA (US) GDPR (EU/UK).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to function on all levels, including.
executive, peer group, technical and customer.
Capable of, and comfortable, dealing with conflict while driving for concrete resolution.
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment.
