Director of Recruiting
Our client is seeking a Director of Recruiting to join their team in SW Portland, OR.
Director of Recruiting Responsibilities
Develop a hiring program to attract top talent through recruiting strategies and branding.
Develop and manage relationships with hiring managers and consult on best hiring practices. This may include developing interview questions, job descriptions, and being part of the interview process.
Source and develop a hiring pipeline using social media, ATS systems and other avenues to identify passive talent.
Partner with outside sources for hiring strategy including employment agencies, state programs and other available partners within the industry.
Creates internal processes and procedures for hiring including offer process, pre-employment drug screening, and onboarding.
Act as liaison between hiring manager and candidate, handling all offer negotiations, and offer acceptances.
Create the candidate and new hire experience to help integrate the new employee to company culture.
Partner with leadership and hiring managers to oversee the development of a comprehensive training program surrounding company culture, client interaction standards, and overall understanding of the company and the programs offered.
Develop a leadership succession plan to identify future leaders within the business.
Serve as key point of contact for organization development, and work with the business, strategy development and deployment, systems alignment activities, and talent management activities.
Identify top talent for future promotional opportunities through training and KPI development.
As the company continues to grow provide additional insight and improvements in safety, employee relations and other HR functions.
Director of Recruiting Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
HR certification or working towards completion preferred.
5-6 years of talent acquisition experience with ability to develop new processes and procedures.
Ability to provide excellent customer service and sell the brand.
Experience working within an ATS system and proficiency with MS Office.
Excellent attention to detail.
