Director of FP&A
Our national client is looking for a Director of FP&A to lead strategic planning and analysis for their Finance team in Portland. This role will seat with a fun and ambitious group, and comes with a lot of perks!
Responsibilities of the Director of FP&A
Lead Financial Planning and Analysis function.
Develop, train, and mentor FP&A staff.
Performance management for FP&A staff.
Budgeting and forecasting.
Financial reporting and analysis for management.
Lead the development and implementation of FP&A policy, best practice, and process improvements.
Oversee FP&A policies and procedures.
Provide financial management services to stakeholders.
Long range multi-year financial planning.
Develop annual operating budgets and schedules.
Review budget requests and recommendations.
Maintain budget and planning records.
Prepare and review monthly budget.
Variance analysis and reporting.
Reporting for metrics and KPIs.
Quarterly budget reviews.
Risk analysis and review.
Ad hoc reporting and analysis.
Director of FP&A Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related; Masters degree preferred.
10 years of financial planning and analysis experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
Background in pharmaceuticals a plus.
Experience as a consultant preferred.
Dashboards experience highly preferred: Oracle, Business Objects, etc.
MS Office Suite experience, with advanced skills in Excel and Word; Excel power user a huge plus.
ERP systems and OLAP tools knowledge.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
