Director of Finance
Our client, a local agricultural organization, is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee daily accounting and finance functions for their team in the Willamette Valley. Responsibilities of the Director of Finance
Oversee accounting and finance team.
Continuous development and implementation of accounting and financial analysis/reporting policy, best practice, and process improvements.
Create operational and financial tools and resources.
Operational financial analysis and modeling.
Support investment and acquisitions research, analysis, and review.
Real estate valuations.
Evaluation of assets.
Cash flow analysis.
Manage fixed asset and depreciation records.
Track and reconcile physical inventory counts to accounting records.
Manage operating and capital lease schedules.
Assist with monthly and yearly closing processes.
Manage regulatory filings and records.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analysis.
Manage annual audit.
Conduct monthly presentations for management.
Assist in special project, reporting, and modeling as necessary.

Director of Finance Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
5+ years of experience in accounting; manufacturing or agricultural background required.
5-7 years of financial analysis experience.
Experience with investment, budgeting and forecasting analysis.
Heavy inventory experience preferred.
Solid understanding of GAAP.
ERP systems experience; Sage or similar accounting software is a plus.
Experience with leading a system implementation preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Great organizational and time management skills.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
