Our Portland medical client is looking for a Director of Finance to oversee financial planning and analysis, partnering with executive management in a strategic role.
Responsibilities of the Director of Finance
Develop, oversee, and train finance staff.
Coordinate and manage financial management and strategy.
Oversee financial analysis and research functions.
Partner with senior executives to develop business and operational plans.
Develop performance metrics and KPIs for strategic financial functions.
Support mergers and acquisitions.
Budgeting and forecasting.
Financial modeling for forecasting and analysis.
Develop strategic relationships with stakeholders and outside partners.
Provide expertise in cash flow analysis, financial modeling, and operational budgeting for managers in organization.
Oversee corporate project portfolios.
Manage cost stewardship activities.
Lead the continuous development and implementation of business modeling and operational planning policy, best practice, and process improvements.
Other special projects and duties as needed.
Director of Finance Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related.
10 years of progressively responsible financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
CPA, CMA, MBA or ASA preferred.
Healthcare background preferred.
Advanced knowledge of GAAP, SAP, cash flow and cost accounting.
MS Office Suite experience, with skills in Excel and Word.
ERP systems knowledge.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Results driven and persistent.
