Director of Digital Advertising
Our client in is seeking a Director of Digital Advertising. The Director of Digital Advertising is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the digital advertising teams. This position will play a vital role in driving both managers and individual contributors to achieve monthly goals, deliver consistent levels and quality of services, execute on opportunities to hit growth and revenue targets, and ensure the overall health of the teams. The Director will create and maintain a strong balance of efficiency, quality of performance, and scale.
Director of Digital Advertising Responsibilities
Forecast advertising media spend and service revenue projections and managing the business to achieve monthly goals.
Ensure that the service strategies, customer-facing communications, and outcomes for all digital advertising tactics provide a unified client experience.
Act as the ultimate escalation point for the digital advertising team on customer concerns or issues that arise.
Identify solutions, communicates wins, and recommends service additions or strategic revisions as needed.
Remove roadblocks and inefficiencies in business processes, systems, and workflows to improve time, quality, and accuracy of service execution.
Design playbooks and training plans for successful skills development across digital advertising functions.
Provide mentorship, structured assistance, instruction, and inspiration to the team. Understand how defining responsibilities, setting direction, outlining goals, and holding people accountable improves employee satisfaction.
Ensure new media channel testing and optimization for PPC, Display, Behavioral, Mobile and Social advertising.
Play a key role in maintaining a culture focused on results for our clients.
Work with Product to facilitate appropriate technology build-out in supporting and scaling online marketing best practices through automation.
Director of Digital Advertising Qualifications
8+ years of experience leading a digital advertising team.
Proven mastery of digital advertising (paid search, display, paid social, native, retargeting, mobile, local search tactics, on-page elements, citation management, keyword analysis, performance audits).
Deep understanding of agency-style business operations; leveraging performance tactics to ensure long-term customer success and continued revenue growth.
Ability to solve problems and identify opportunities through the use of analytics tools, vertical expertise, and critical thinking.
Experience onboarding software tools & systems to scale programs (Kenshoo, Marin, Acquisio, Yext, BrightEdge, Conductor).
Experience managing complex, multi-channel digital marketing strategies across clients or franchise locations preferred.
Superior analytical skills – must have prior hands-on experience working with large data sets and conversion analysis.
Ability to research and stay ahead of digital media industry trends.
